Locust Creek Covered Bridge

Took a short side trip to this Missouri State Historic Site off highway 36. This is where we are lunch and did a 1/4 mile walk to the covered bridge. Yes, there were many locusts here. 

Hannibal Missouri

Entering Missouri, we cross the Mississippi River and stop in Hannibal, the boyhood hone of Mark Twain. We also found a cat here, but did not ask him to join us on our trip.

Washington Park

Washington Park is just around the corner from the AirBnb we stayed at in Springfield IL. Took a quick walk there before heading to our next destination
